If you're like me, the answer's no. Even though it's been more than a year and a half since the band announced its breakup, I haven't even come close to "replacing" Leigh Nash, Matt Slocum and Co. And if you're a fan who thinks you have, then, pardon me, but you're one sick puppy.

For the rest of us--those living in the real world--we got some good news a couple months ago. Yes, in less than a year, we're going to have a new album from Mrs. Leigh Nash in our hands. What we didn't know is that she and famed producer Pierre Marchand (Sarah McLachlan, Rufus Wainright) are in the middle of recording her solo debut up in Canada. Word is the much anticipated disc will be released this coming summer. Apparently, Leigh's penned (or co-written) 35 songs that are being paired down to 12 for the album. Sixpence None the Richer fans know to have high expectations for what she'll come up with. After all, we're talking about the creative spirit who penned the Sixpence classics "The Garden," "Easy to Ignore," "Down and Out of Time" and "Eyes Wide Open." And the voice? Wow...what a combination.
