For several weeks a friend of mine had been telling me about a "new" band she's getting to work with called NEEDTOBREATHE. Apparently, this rock act had signed a major label deal with Lava/Atlantic and then immediately signed a co-deal for the Christian market with Sparrow Records.

My friend had gotten an advance copy of the album and told me she was having trouble getting it out of her CD player because it's so addictive. She said it reminded her of Maroon 5's SONGS ABOUT JANE record in that it sounds like hit after hit after hit. (Apparently the NEEDTOBREATHE disc had been produced by Andy Green, who did Keane's album.)

Well, needless to say, my friend got my curiousity up. Before long I was able to get my hands on a pre-release myself. And...let's just say, my curiosity was well placed.

So, here's the thing...I'm hoping your curiosity is piqued. And since NEEDTOBREATHE's new album, DAYLIGHT, doesn't release for another month (April 4, to be precise), I want to pass along a couple of links for you.

Now, in April and May, when your friends start coming up to you trying to tell you about this great new band they heard, you can be all, "Um...I had them on my iPod like a month before their album even came out."
