"Who Else is Endorsing The Second Chance?"

That was my question when I discovered one of Paste's movie critics recommended the film on CNN earlier this week. Sure, I saw Larry King and Michael W. Smith discuss the film on the same network a few nights earlier, but that was protocal--after all, Smitty STARS in the movie.

So back to my question. I'm a curious sort of fellow, so I did a little research. And wouldn't you know it? Some evangelical big guns have seen advanced screenings and are telling their friends--and oh yeah, massive listening audiences--to go see The Second Chance this weekend.

Consider these endorsements for instance:

"The Second Chance reminds the church to stay on track with the business of God. A timely warning for us all."--Max Lucado

"The greatest mission field may be not across the world but right across the street. I am glad that, beyond issues of color, this movie catches the differences in mission and methods that can separate or unite inner-city and suburban pastors. With God's help, we can meet on the common ground of all that makes us unique."--Bishop T.D. Jakes

"To say that I enjoyed the film is a vast understatement. I resonated with what I saw in this great piece of work. Anyone who has ever had a ministry in an inner city over an extended period of time, has encountered just about every one of the situations that came out in the film."--Tony Campolo

"The Second Chance is a film that will take you out of your comfort zone and into some deep thinking about why Sunday morning is the most segregated time in America. Be prepared to have your heart touched and your life changed."--Janet Parshall, Host of Janet Parshall's America

Nice, huh? Yeah, and that's just for starters. To find out more about the movie and to see if you live in one of the 65 cities where it starts playing this weekend, click on this link: http://www.thesecondchancemovie.com

Do yourself a favor and go see the movie pronto. And remember, the more ticket sales The Second Chance generates this opening weekend, the more markets it will expand to next week and then the week after that...

Be the tipping point,

Jay
